On Sunday, July 28, 2013, Central Baptist Church voted to call Andy Schmidt as the next pastor. He officially started on August 11, 2013. He previously started and pastored Calvary Baptist Church in Waterloo, IA. He was ordained at Central Baptist Church, so it's great to have him back! Pastor Andy attended Hyles Anderson college and has a passion for helping and counseling people. Pastor Andy Schmidt is joined with his wife Michelle and their son Andrew.
